I got my first eye surgery on the left eye. I got cataract and iris surgery on Wednesday. The surgery took 2 hours and I was under local anesthesia. I was in and out of consciousness. This picture is of my eye the next day after the patch was taken off. The doctors said it was a successful surgery. They’re now able to confirm that I need retina surgery on both eyes. They also said within a week or two I should be able to see more than just shadows out of the left eye. Keeping fingers crossed and staying positive!
